I don't have Z3X Card/Box/JTAG

Can I use any Z3X software or download files?

No you can't. All Z3X software and downloading files from support require Z3X Card/Box/JTAG connection.

How to get Z3X Box/JTAG?

You can buy in our official resellers here.

Why I can't buy Z3X Card?

It's part of Z3X Box/JTAG and is not sold as single product.

What is Z3X Box?

Z3X Box #1 tool for Samsung phones and GSM solutions.

Which editions of Z3X does the box contain?

What is Z3X JTAG?

EasyJTAG Box is a professional JTAG programmer allowing you to work with devices(single or united into common chain) through JTAG interface. The main intended purpose of EasyJTAG Box is repairing dead boots of the devices (routers, aricards, smartphones, PDAs, modems, mp3 players, etc.) or these devices recovery until they become fully operational. Support wide range of CDMA/GSM mobile phones and modems brands: samsung, lg, zte, huawei, sony, AMOI , htc, GSMART, Sierra Wireless ets. EasyJTAG Software is Windows application for EasyJTAG Box providing fast and easy interface for devices recovery.

I just buy Z3X Box/JTAG

How to start using software?

1. Install Z3X Card,Box or JTAG drivers:

a. Using manual installation: Card drivers folder, Reader drivers folder, Box drivers folder, Jtag drivers folder.

b. Using auto installation: Install drivers.

2. Register your box by pressing "Hardware wizard" button at "Settings and Hardware tools" page.

3. Update card firmware by pressing "Hardware wizard" button at "Settings and Hardware tools" page.

4. Activate all available activations by pressing "Hardware wizard" button at "Settings and Hardware tools" page.

5. Download all available software for your Z3X Card/Box/JTAG by pressing "Check for updates" link at "Settings and Hardware tools" page.

6. Search or select required model at "Shell" page and click "Run" or double click at required software at "Shell" page.

I can't update card firmware!

I see "Cart not added to z3x server" message

It means that your SN is still not activated by your reseller. Send your card SN to your reseller and wait for an answer or ask for your moneyback.

Update started but freezes

Your network connection too slow. Try it on the other computer.

I see "Timeout" message

Your network connection is too slow. Try it on the other computer.

I see "Max 3 unsuccessful attempts per day" message

It means that you've tried to update your card 2 times before at that day. The more you try, the highest is the chance that you will damage your card.. So be careful and wait until the next day.

I see "Your cards are BANNED by your reseller"

You cards are banned by your reseller for unknown for us reason. Ask your reseller how to unban your card.

I see "It is not a "z3x-team" card"

Your card is hardware-dead and requires the exchange (we can transfer activation from old card to new card,just send us an email to forum@z3x-team.com with two card SN) or you've selected wrong reader when trying to repair software-dead card. If you don't remember old SN click here.

Sometsing was wrong and my card not detecting now

Your card is software-dead. You can repair your card by pressing "Hardware wizard" button at "Settings and Hardware tools" page.

Which software can I use?

Any software according to your activations. Press "Check for updates" link at "Settings and Hardware tools" page and all available activations will be downloaded and installed.

Software shows "Product not activated" message

You don't have required activation. If you've already bought this activation and reseller confirmed activation then add it by pressing "Hardware wizard" button at "Settings and Hardware tools" page.

When I'm trying to download file- I see message ...

"Daily download limit is out"

Your daily download limit is out. Try your download tomorrow.

"You don't have access to this file"

You are trying to download files for which you don't have activation (Samsung, LG and Nec, China Editor, Benq, Easy Jtag) or from section that require 3 or more activations (Add on)

How many files I can download per day?

20 files per day.

Can I use download accelerators?

Yes. It will be counted as one file.

Can I increase download limit?

Yes. Read more here

How to check supported models or firmware versions?

To find out unlock prices and which firmware versions were successful by users you can follow the link and see the model you are interested in.

In order to understand if the model will be unlocked, you need to look at these points:

  1. Mobile operator.
  2. The firmware version of the phone.

Operators are divided into

  • Sprint (Unlock SPR using credits)
  • T-Mobile, including Metro by T-Mobile (Unlock TMB using credits)
  • All others (Unlock or Read Unlock Codes using credits)

I can't find required model in software

Download all available software that is allowed to your card by pressing "Check for updates" link at "Settings and Hardware tools" page. Then search again.


I downloaded all required software but still can't find

Maybe your model still not added. Try leave request at our official forum or at "black" forum.

I can't find REPAIR tab

To switch the visibility of the repair tab, you must double-click CTRL on your computer keyboard.

I bought Z3X Box/JTAG some time ago

Shell and other software can't find Z3X card

Drivers installation broken

Install Z3X Card,Box or JTAG drivers:

  • a. Using manual installation: Card drivers folder, Reader drivers folder, Box drivers folder, Jtag drivers folder.
  • b. Using auto installation: Install drivers.
Drivers installed correctly

Try restore/update card firmware by pressing "Check for updates" link at "Settings and Hardware tools" page.


Update started but freezes

Your network connection too slow. Try another computer.

When I try to download file I see message ...

You try to download files for activation that you don't have (Samsung, LG and Nec, China Editor, Benq, Easy Jtag) or from the section that requires 3 or more activations (Add on)

"403 forbidden. FAIL: you are not login!"

If you get the error "403 forbidden" when downloading anything from the support area, it may be due to several reasons - problems with connection and software or banned IP-address. If you can download via VPN - then your IP banned. Create a ticket by asking a question on our support site or send email to sales @z3x-team.com with details of card SN and IP and they can unban it.

"Could not connect to server", "Unable to login the server"

Try to use a different computer or/and internet provider. Maybe some app (firewall, etc) control your requests. In some cases also helps to reflash card - click wizard in Z3X Shell without card, option "Repair dead card" will be available, then connect card and click Next…
